TOMMY NOBIS (LB, Falcons 1966-76) was the first overall draft pick by the expansion Falcons in 1966 and has been affiliated with the team for all but 15 months since. He currently holds the position of vice president of corporate development and serves as a liaison between the Falcons and the business community. "I'm still employed with the Falcons, virtually have been since my playing days were over in 1976," Nobis said. "I've been here since day one. It's been good for the family, good to stay in one city. Not many people can say that they worked for the same company for 38 years." Nobis played in 133 games for the Falcons and recorded 12 career interceptions. He led the team in tackles in seven of his 11 seasons and set a team record with 296 tackles as a rookie. Nobis was the first-ever Falcons player voted to the Pro Bowl, He played in a total of five Pro Bowls and was named to the NFL's All-Decade Team for the 1960s.
BILL FRALIC (OG-OT, Falcons and Lions 1985-93) was a concensus All American at the University of Pittsburgh and the second overall pick in the 1985 draft. He played in 132 games and was named the Falcons Player of the Year and first team All-Pro in consecutive seasons (1986-87). The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Fralic was voted to four straight Pro Bowls (1986-89) and named to the NFL's All-Decade Team of the 1980s. Today, he lives in Roswell, Ga., and owns an insurance company specializing in commercial-transportation coverage. "I'm also real involved in the Golf Club of Georgia and have been on the board of directors there;' Fralic said. "Other than that. I enjoy golfing and working out. It's been a clean break from football."
JESSIE TUGGLE (LB, Falcons 1987-2000) was an undrafted free agent out of tiny Valdosta State when he signed with the Falcons in 1987. He went on to a distinguished 14-year career in which he appeared in five Pro Bowls and led the I Falcons in tackles 10 times. Nicknamed, "The , Hammer," Tuggle still holds the franchise record for most career tackles (2,065). He also ranks third in games played (209) and career starts (189). Today. Tuggle lives with his wife in North Fulton County, Ga., and works for residential-home developer the Cascade Group. Tuggle also serve, as a coach for his son's high-school football team "I usually work with the linebackers," Tuggle said "But occasionally I'll ask him to do something and he says, `Dad, you can't tell me what to do, I'm a quarterback."' In 2004, the Falcons established the Jessie Tuggle Humanitarian Award for community service in honor of Tuggle's life-long, dedication to helping others.
MICHAEL REID (LB, Falcons 1987-92) live, with his wife and two kids in Atlanta, Ga., when: he owns and operates a martial-arts studio specializing in Tai Chi and Kung Fu. "I still miss football," Reid said. San Francisco 49ers that Reid considers his personal-best game. "I played all the special teams and had a couple of sacks of (Joe) Montana," Reid said. "It was a banner day."
